Hi, I’m Monica.
Travel is the love of my life. Always has been, even as a child when I used to lie on the floor with an open atlas and dream of the exotic places and people represented on the maps in front of me. It is something I have indulged in as much as my finances have enabled me and the love has never diminished.
I was hoping to start (actually did) a small boutique styled travel agency at the beginning of 2020. Bad timing, with my first customer later, here we are now living with COVID with it’s restrictions and life-altering situations, and no one travelling anywhere.
So for the moment we must live vicariously in our dreams, looking forward again to a day when life may return to some normalcy and my travel dreams both work and play may return. Being confined more or less to home I have decided to start this blog; the idea being to post a photos and a story of travel experiences to remind me of past memories, great or small and to inspire me to continue to dream.
I welcome anyone who chooses to share with me in this armchair virtual travel experience.
